Eddie Murphy Lands On 'Fantasy Island'



Eddie Murphy is about to turn a "Fantasy" into a reality.


Murphy has signed on to star in the big-screen adaptation of "Fantasy Island," according to the Hollywood Reporter.


As he's been known to, Murphy will play multiple roles in the film, based on the popular TV series starring Ricardo Montalban that ran from 1978 – 1984.


Murphy, who played multiple roles in "Coming to America," "Bowfinger," "Vampire in Brooklyn," "The Nutty Professor" films and most recently "Norbit," will next reprise his role as the voice of Donkey in "Shrek the Third," which hits theaters May 18.
